Movement is medicine

Movement is medicine

TRULY.

DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH A PROFESSIONAL WHO REALLY GETS YOU AND SEES YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL, NOT JUST A NUMBER OR AN INJURY? THEN MOVE ON THE DALEY IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU.

“I’ve been there. On the patient side multiple times, both as a kid and an adult, and now on the provider side. Allow me to be the person for you that I wish I had during my injuries.” - Dr. Megan

Move On The Daley was born out of frustration after several years in the corporate healthcare world where patients were rushed through and clinicians were pressured to get more appointments and higher billing. Refusing to accept that as the only way, Dr. Megan set out to build Move On The Daley where she offers tailored one-on-one PT sessions (can include dry needling, cupping, etc as necessary), mobility assessments, and maintenance and performance memberships (which include monthly health consultant calls) - all of which can be done virtually or in person in Scottsdale!

You are NOT your diagnosis and there IS a better option than surgery, pills, or rest. Dr. Megan has personally dealt with countless injuries and diagnoses, not only as a practitioner, but as a patient herself. And she’s come back better than ever each time utilizing the same mindset and treatment style she provides to her patients. It is the mission of this clinic to help you get to where you want to be. To be able to say “yes!” to any adventure or opportunity that comes your way without worrying about your body’s capability. Let her guide you towards taking control of your body for life!

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MOVEMENT

DR. SARAH “MEGAN” DALEY

Dr. Megan has been practicing in Phoenix, AZ since 2014 when she recieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. She has been involved in CrossFit for just as long and attained her CF-L1 certification in 2018. Through numerous of her own injuries, she became (and still is) very intrigued by how the body not only works, but THRIVES, even in the face of “setbacks”. She also recognizes that truly thriving only occurs when the WHOLE person is considered and addressed.

Megan utilizes evidence based treatments with a fitness forward and psychologically-informed approach to get you moving more and feeling better. Specialties include adult and pediatric sports injuries along with general orthopedic concerns. Megan is particularly interested in shoulder and knee injuries, as well as jaw injuries, due to extensive personal experience, though she also enjoys treating injuries of the neck, back, foot/ankle, hip, elbow, and hand/wrist. It brings her immense joy to see her patients get back to doing what they love after working together with them.

Additionally, after being her father’s caregiver and getting a firsthand view of how cancer patients are often either overlooked by PTs or avoided by PTs out of fear of the diagnosis, she became certified in oncology rehab through PORi. She feels very grateful to provide improved quality of life to those currently going through treatment or still dealing with treatment side effects years later through not only her manual skills, but her expertise in exercise and strength training for this population.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Megan travels the country teaching various courses to fellow PTs on best treatments through the Institute of Clinical Excellence, one of the leading companies in the field. She is also adjunct faculty for South College’s DPT program
